At Align Meetings and Events, we are proud of the work we do and are thankful for our good fortune. This is why we’ve made a commitment to align our success with our values by giving back to the community. This is how BYOBikes was born. Through the simple gift of a bicycle to at-risk youth, we are improving hundreds of lives in our beautiful hometown of New Orleans. If you’d like to join us in this wonderful project, you can do so by donating or volunteering with us.

Successful Alignments

Ali Brown

Ali possesses a strong drive and an overwhelming passion for hospitality. Born and raised in New Orleans, Ali first gained exposure to the industry while completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism with a concentration in Convention and Meeting Management at the University of New Orleans.

Since 1997, Ali has produced programs for conferences up to 40,000 attendees, multiple Super Bowls, Final Fours and corporate incentive programs nationwide.

Her priority for every event is to provide a seamless experience for everyone involved. She is bubbly and high energy and she loves channeling those characteristics in every event she plans. She loves gumbo, the New Orleans Saints, solving the world’s problems while "front porching" with her friends and exploring every city she visits by bicycle.

Gina Bonura, CMP

Gina is a hard-working, detail-oriented event professional.  She was also born and raised in New Orleans and entered the hospitality industry upon completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration, with a concentration in Convention and Meeting Management at The University of New Orleans.  

Gina has produced events for thousands of guests, including Super Bowls, NBA Allstars, corporate meeting planners, brides, debutantes, etc.  She has established herself as an industry leader by being a founding member of the International Live Events Association, New Orleans Chapter and serving two terms as President.

She prides herself in timely responsiveness and building lasting relationships with clients.  She loves playing and watching sports, especially the Saints, the LSU Tigers, and her own two boys.  Her fun-loving personality has aligned perfectly with Ali for over 20 years
